Sola Vista

The architectural style and interior styling of Sola Vista, an ecotherapy retreat center located in Big Sur, honor the aesthetic and spiritual history of its location, as well as the legacy of renowned architect, Mickey Muennig. The space is informed by zen design principles and the aesthetic imperatives of wabi sabi. Sola Vista’s visual identity honors and situates a harmonious interaction between people, nature, and space. Design and location come together to create a place for authenticity, community, and immersion through a perfectly imperfect look. Promotional assets and original prints were designed using the Adobe Suite. The room mockups were created using 3D modeling software, Blender.
